World Cricket Connects is a premier international forum dedicated to the future of the game. Held in the hallowed Long Room at Lord’s, the inaugural 2025 event hosted a guest list of legendary status. The challenge was one of balance: creating a cutting-edge, modern event environment while strictly preserving the traditional aesthetics of the room—specifically ensuring the historic paintings remained visible.

vision to venue
1. Design & Planning
Sympathetic set design: The stage design was pivotal to the brief. Working within strict visual parameters, we collaborated closely with our set department to turn a conceptual sketch into a beautiful custom build. The resulting design framed the speakers perfectly without obstructing the venue's priceless artwork, blending modern utility with the room’s heritage.
2. Production & Delivery
Audience interactivity: To ensure the forum felt dynamic rather than static, we introduced digital engagement tools to the format. We integrated Slido for real-time polling and Q&A, a feature that transformed the attendee experience. This level of interactivity was so successful that the client has since adopted it as a core standard for their future events.
3. On-site Execution & Support
Operational agility: The event schedule required significant flexibility from our on-site crew. Following the daytime forum, we executed a rapid and complex room turnaround to accommodate a last-minute addition to the schedule: a formal celebratory dinner. Our team managed the transition seamlessly, ensuring the evening event began on time with zero compromise on quality.
